Play Color Clash with friends
An original card game for 2–6 players. Free, no sign-up.
How a turn works
-
Match the top card
Play one card with the same colour, number or symbol. Blue 3 on top? Any blue card or any 3 will do, and a Wild fits anything.
-
No match? Draw one
Take a single card from the pile. If it fits, play it straight away; if not, keep it and play moves on.
-
One card left? Call it
Press “Last Card!” as you play your second-to-last card. Forget, and anyone who catches you first makes you draw two.
Skips, Reverses, Draw Twos and Wilds shake things up. The first player with an empty hand wins the round, and with three or more the rest play on for second, third and so on.
Family Night keeps the score for you
Three rounds, longer 45-second turns, “Last Card!” called automatically and a first card that is always a number. It is the gentle setting for mixed ages, and it is already selected when you make a room.
After each round the winner scores the cards left in everyone else’s hand. The highest total after three rounds wins, and a tie shares the win.

Fair play, built into the table
- Only you see your hand. Your cards are sent to your screen and nobody else’s, the host included. The server shuffles, so nobody can stack the deck.
- Computers wear a label. Computer players appear only in practice, or to finish the seat of someone who left, and they are always marked “Computer”.
- Quick Match is honest. It seats real people only, each under an automatic animal name, and shows how many are actually waiting. If nobody comes, it says so and offers practice or a private room.
- Nothing to sign up for. No account, no download and no ads during play. A room nobody is using closes by itself after 15 minutes.
The rules on one page
Color Clash is a fast colour-and-number card game for 2–6 players. On your turn, match the top card by colour, number or symbol. Action cards skip, reverse and make people draw. Be the first to play your last card — and remember to call “Last Card!” when you are down to one.
| Skip | The next player misses their turn. |
|---|---|
| Reverse | Play changes direction. With two players it works like a Skip: you go again. |
| Draw Two | The next player draws two cards and misses their turn. |
| Wild | Choose the colour everyone must match next. |
| Wild Draw Four | Choose the colour; the next player draws four and misses their turn. You may only play it when you hold no card of the colour that is currently active. |
Questions families ask
Is Color Clash free?
Yes. Private rooms, practice and Quick Match are free, with no account, no sign-up and no ads during play.
How do I play with friends online?
Create a private room, then share the link, the QR code or the six-letter room code. Everyone plays on their own phone, tablet or computer; the host starts when everyone is ready.
How many people can play?
Two to six players per room. Practice mode lets you play against one to five computer players.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers.
Can someone see my cards?
No. Each player’s cards are only ever sent to that player’s own screen. The host has no special view of the cards.
What is the difference between Classic and Family Night?
Classic uses the standard rules: action cards can open the round and you call Last Card! yourself. Family Night is gentler for mixed ages: three rounds, longer turns, Last Card! called automatically and a number card to start.
Are the computer players pretending to be people?
Never. Computer players are always labelled “Computer” and are only used in practice, or to finish the seat of someone who left. Quick Match only seats real people.
Is Quick Match safe for children?
There is no chat anywhere in the game, and at Quick Match tables everyone plays under an automatic animal name, so no real names are shown to strangers. For family games, a private room is still the best choice.
What happens if my connection drops?
Your seat waits 90 seconds. Reopen the page or the invitation link and you are back with the same cards.
Deal the first hand
Make a room, send the link to the family group, and the first round starts as soon as everyone is in.
